About the Marketplace Module
The Marketplace module by DIXENO provides a marketplace functionality for your OXID shop. Merchants can use the store to post, sell and ship products or services. As the marketplace operator, you bill their use of the marketplace. You benefit from commissions that you agree on with the merchants. The following image depicts the ordering process between customer, marketplace operator, merchant and Novalnet:

A customer can add products or services from multiple merchants to the shopping cart and order them. Each merchant receives their own backend with which they manage the products, services and orders. |

Payment processing is handled by the payment provider and acquirer Novalnet. Check-out and payout processing for all marketplace participants is carried out via insolvency-proof escrow accounts and is thus legally protected.
Every merchant that wants so sell their products on the marketplace muss register with Novalnet. In this way, you as the marketplace operator receive additional security with regard to the liquidity and creditworthiness of the merchant.
Novalnet also handles commission payments. For example, if a customer purchases products from multiple merchants, then Novalnet collects the money via the selected payment system, divides the amount of money according to the merchants and deducts the agreed upon commission, which is paid out to you as the marketplace operator, as well as fees of the service provider.
